Dry dog food which helps to dissolve struvite stones with urine acidifying properties. This dietetic kibble contains a restricted amount of high quality protein and is low in magnesium.

Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine UR Urinary is formulated to promote urine in the pH range to help dissolve urinary stones. It can also reduce the risk of stones reforming. When bladder stones form they irritate the bladder which causes pain and bleeding. If your dog suffers from urinary stones they will need to be removed, either surgically or by dissolving them with a specific diet.

Pro Plan Canine UR Urinary helps your dog to produce an acidic urine which can dissolve the stone. The tasty dry dog food has a low magnesium content and contains only restricted levels of top quality protein. This helps to stop bacterial infections from developing. Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants encourage a healthy urinary tract.
Indications:
  • Struvite stones combined with urinary tract infections

Contraindications:

  • Not suitable for dogs requiring a urine acidifier
